1958:
Kenneth Ray Carllile (1931–1987), a.k.a.Thumbs Carllile was an American country music guitarist and songwriter who played with his guitar in his lap, fretting, picking and strumming with the fingers and thumbs of both hands. He and his singer-songwriter wife, Virginia Boyle, routinely appeared on ABC-TV's Ozark Jubilee in Springfield, Missouri and released Springfield Guitar Social in 1958.  A few years later, Carllile and Boyle recorded an album at Les Paul's home studio in New Jersey. Carllile was also a member of Roger Miller's band for about ten years.

1969:
Led Zeppelin was booked to play the Argus Butterfly Jazz Club, capacity a few hundred, by promoters Brian Stoker and David Richards.  Stoker said, "I was talking to guitarist Jimmy Page and asked if he enjoyed it and he said 'yes' and he would come back. I said what are you doing next month and he said they were playing the Hollywood Bowl, so that was the last we saw of them."

There are apparently no recordings of the Jimmy Page/The Reputations version in 1991.

1982 Michael Winner & Jimmy Page
on the street in front of their houses in London

1985:
Michael Winner (1935 - 2013) was an English film director and producer, a restaurant critic an art collector, and Jimmy Page's next door neighbor. He edited his own movies using the pseudonym Arnold Crust. Over his film career, he worked with many big name actors including, of course, Charles Bronson for the Death Wish movies. Jimmy Page created the soundtrack for 1982's Death Wish II.

Winner's 1984 movie Scream For Help is about a teenage girl who suspects that her cruel step-father is plotting to kill her and her mother, and who is unable to get anyone to believe her.  It didn't do well in the box office in spite of male frontal nudity and a soundtrack (released in 1985) that was composed by John Paul Jones, featuring Jimmy Page on two of the tracks. The movie has garnered a cult following since then.
